Why A Virtual Summit Is The Best Way To Grow Your List AND Your Business
About 5 years ago, I came home, flicked the light switch, and NOTHING HAPPENED.
My power was turned OFF!
Here I was, a newlywed, and I had made so many bad business decisions that I couldn’t’ even manage to keep the lights on and provide for my wife and I.
I had literally left her in the dark.I felt about 2 feet tall.
I needed to fix this, and fast. It was time to put my business ventures to the side and find something that would pay the bills. Whether I wanted to admit it or not, I was a struggling entrepreneur.
I honestly didn’t know if I was placing my business to the side as a temporary thing, or if this was going to be a permanent move. It was unsettling, but all I knew was that I was careless in my spending for the
sake of chasing a dream, and in the process, I lost the trust of my wife.
I quickly scrambled and searched on the internet and started applying for a second job.
In the meantime, I hustled my butt off, fixing the computers of friends for a friendly fee in order to put more money in my pockets.
Then finally, a few weeks later, I got the phone call from U-Haul for an open position. Did I take it?
Heck yea I took it.
At this point, I was working 2 jobs. While at U-Haul, I was able to catch up with my unpaid bills to stop the bleeding. It took approximately 3 months for things to get back normal financially, but my wife was not happy because I was not able to spend time with her at home.
My hunger for my dream of began to rekindle. The dream of being able to run my own businesses and not depend on a job was something that I just could not shake. The longer that I worked at U-Haul, the worse the hunger pains for my dream began to grow.
It was time to find something new that paid the bills and my lifestyle, without having to spend money in order to make money. And I DID!
I was successful with a platform called Fiverr, but then my biggest success of all it all was with affiliate marketing. I LOVED it! I still love everything about it, and I was GOOD at it.
