Do Facebook Ads Work? 7 Reasons Why…
Do Facebook Ads work? After losing thousands of dollars for testing, bad campaign after bad campaign!?
After getting excited from making learning something new, hoping that I can try my luck at ads again so I can finally get conversions, only to be let down to see no positive results after $200+ of ad spend…is this all a lie?
I’ve taken a ton courses, both paid and free, I’ve implemented all of the straggles, both old and new, and I still didn’t get any results!
Do Facebook ds work?
Like a dummy, I still tried my hand at it because so many people were generating so much money and leads from them. It had to work because it worked for everyone else!
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
Do you relate to any of the scenarios that I just painted for you?
I told myself that I was going to give up! Save all of my money, and deal with free methods only! However, though you may not be spending money to generate traffic, you pay with your time and energy.
So it was inevitable. I had to learn how to do some type of paid advertising, and I needed to make myself more valuable to charge a premium for my future clients.
Word of advice for some of you who do cloaching and services for others. Increase your skill set, increase your price.
Instead of finding reasons why something did not work, I found reasons of why it should. Plus, what else was I going to do? Find a new shiny object through another offer in a course that someone promised would bring results? No, not this time.
So I began to get really serious about the courses that I already had, I got involved in my Facebook groups to ask questions, and I was not going to take no for an answer until I got repetitive results.
After years of failing and getting back up again, I got to the point where I knew there was nothing else new to learn. It was time to get my desired outcome. Finally, after about 3 years, I-GOT-RESULTS!!!
Do Facebook Ads work? Heck, YES, they work.
My experience make me qualified to give you these 7 reasons to properly answer the questions of “do Facebook ads work. Here they are below:
- Laser Targeting audience
You can laser target your ideal customer, which is something that you are not able to do on any of the other platforms. It is really quite scary to be honest with you, to know the type of power you have as an advertiser with Facebook in order to target your ideal customer.
I use affiliate marketing with bing ads and they do allow you to track your customers pretty well. You can break down your criteria to find your perfect customer, but they are not capable of getting you access to people who have specific needs.
For example, with Facebook, I am able to target someone who is married, a female, and most likely to have 2 kids who are infants. Why would this be relevant? Maybe I need to target parents who are looking to move into a new house with 2 or more bedrooms!
There is a reason why marketers are super excited about using Facebook ads. It’s not just because its a fancy tool that is cool to play with. You can really do some serious marketing damage and make a crap-ton of profits.
- Better for high ticket items
Do facebook ads work for low ticket offers and high ticket offers? They work for both, however, I recommend that you have an offer of a high ticket product if you’re using this vehicle of generating traffic.
It was a day that you could get super cheap clicks with this platform. Those days are long gone.
Is impossible to get cheap clicks and leads? No it is not. Here are some pictures of my results with really good leads for a great price:
It takes testing ands special audiences to get results like mine, but if you follow the steps that I follow, you will be on your way to getting solid results as well.
So according to my screen shots, you tell me…do Facebook ads work?
Let’s get it working for you! Keep reading to get a few more tips.
- great for leads magnets
Lead magnets are great for with ads from the Facebook platform. You can practically drive traffic to your website and offer at will. In other words, you can bring forth results ON-DEMAND. This is powerful.
With lead magnets, you’re giving away something for free to your ideal customer and in exchange they will give you their email address, name, or phone number…what ever you’re asking for.
Why would they do this? Because you’re giving way something of value that they need. You’re solving a problem.
- Results take a while
It can take a while for you to get the desired results, but if you just hang in there and be patient, you will be satisfied. It is an incredible feeling when you those numbers appear on your Facebook ads dashboard increase.
To see your conversions go from 0 to 5 in a time span of 24hrs is amazing. You know that your business is growing, and it is only a matter of time that those numbers become of monetary value for you.
Most who ask “do Facebook ads work”, are individuals who spent money, didn’t like the given outcome, and they quit.
To be honest with you, I can’t blame them. I almost quit several times. I still want to quit sometimes because it seems like the algorithm is always changing. However, I have learned how to let my ads run for a week, before making any decisions.
You’re going to need some money in order to test adequately. There is no way around it. But I guarantee you that if you stick it out, and you optimize your ads accordingly after the data comes in for your ads, you will do some major damage after adjustments are made. That’s where the big money is made.
- Scale Business quickly
You are able to scale your business exponentially if you are able to master paid traffic. Earlier I spoke about laser-targeting your audience. Imagine if you got that part down.
Next, imagine if your ads are doing pretty well and you’ve already got some leads and even made some sales. You already know that it is working.
In order to make more money with free traffic methods, you have to pour more time and energy into creating more content to get more sales and leads. With paid traffic, all you have to do is spend a little extra 🙂
Why wouldn’t you? You’ve found a winning campaign, and you know you’re numbers at this point. You may have the scenario where you know that if you spend $100, you will get $400 back. That’s a crazy ROI!
If someone promised you those type of returns in the money market or anywhere, you will be dumb to not take that type of investment right? Well…as long it was a legal investment.
This happens with Facebook ads everyday.
Ironically, at the time of me writing this blog article, I recently ran some traffic over to a client’s blog that was monetized with affiliate offers. I helped her spend approximately $100 and she made over $500 in a matter of week.
If this persists, I will recommend that we crank up our ad spend, so that we can generate more profits.
- Brands Business
If you are running ads to a particular offer, whether it is your own product, an affiliate offer, or anything else, one of the huge advantages that you have as a business, is that you are automatically branding your business in the process.
Anytime you run an ad, you will notice that you have to have a Facebook business page in order to do. When others see your ads in their timeline, your picture/logo will be shown.
At this point, the customer will read your ad and in a matter of seconds, they will decided if they like your brand or not. If they decided to take you up on your offer, they will automatically see your picture/logo as a credible source in the future.
These decisions are made without the customer knowing. In some ways, you may feel like you’re in a psychology class when it comes to marketing, but sometimes you have to get in the head of your type of customer, and think like them in order to drive those sales.
Once you develop a good ad, you will develop a trusted brand that delivers good value, and solves the problems of the customer.
This is what you call developing a good brand.
- Stay inside of Facebook
I left this one for last because it is kind of a secret.
Facebook ads works extremely well when you’re able to create offers that keep their users inside of Facebook.
It costs more to create ads that drive the customer off from Facebook rather than doing something that keeps them within the platform.
Think about it…
Video ads and engagement campaigns are some of the cheapest objectives that you can use. It looks good and gives you a ton of social proof, but the question is how do they turn into leads and sales.
There is a way, but you have to be strategic about it.
So why is that video ads, engagement ads, lead ads, etc., bring so much cheaper results?
It is because the customer is able to stay within Facebook. They can click the “like” button, or be moved over to more content that is created by you, and they can stay within the platform.
Now with the major push of Facebook groups, there is no better time to monetize such a thing with a free method. You can use Facebook ads to grow your group. It’s a little more complicated, but there are ways.
Get creative, think about ways that you can use ads to get the attention of the user to take action on something, but do it so that they don’t have to necessarily leave the platform.
